Head Guard Size Guide
Protecting your head properly starts with a good fit. Our head guards are adjustable for a snug and secure feel, but choosing the right size ensures the best protection and comfort. Use your head circumference to find your size.
How to measure: Use a soft measuring tape around the widest part of your head (just above the eyebrows and ears).
Size | Head Circumference |
---|---|
S/M | 47–56 cm / 18.5–22.0 in |
L/XL | 56–66 cm / 22.0–26.0 in |
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
-
How should a head guard fit?
It should fit snugly without being too tight. The guard shouldn't move when you shake your head, but it also shouldn't cause pressure or discomfort. -
What if I’m at 56 cm?
You're right on the border. If you prefer a tighter fit or have a smaller face/jaw, choose S/M. If you want more room or plan to wear it over a thick hairstyle or headgear, go for L/XL. -
Are head guards one-size-fits-all?
No. While adjustable, you still need to choose the base size that fits your head circumference for proper protection. -
Can kids wear these head guards?
Yes — if their head circumference falls within the S/M range (47–56 cm), they can wear it safely. -
Should I wear something under the head guard?
Most people wear it directly on the skin. You can use a sweatband or thin skull cap if desired, but keep in mind this may affect sizing slightly.
Tip: Always measure your head before ordering — don't just guess based on age or body size.
